I can’t help being excited! We are embarking upon a year that can change the face of Peoria. Manual’s 7th and 8th Grade Preparatory Jr. Academy focused on RIGOR. RELATIONSHIPS and RELEVANCE, has the potential to significantly impact the lives of students, their families and this community in ways we’ve only dreamed of.
On this journey we will see students eager to engage in learning, teachers passionate not only about WHAT and HOW they teach...but more importantly WHO they are teaching. In addition, we will see parents and community working together to make sure cooperation and collaboration are the norms rather than the exception.
2008-09 promises to be a history making year for Manual High School. As the 7th and 8th grade Academy Leader, I welcome you to join me and the Manual staff as we begin this journey to an unbelievable future.
